  • NearMeNow Promotional Video

Kept under wraps until our launch last Thursday, we couldn't be more proud of the video that we created to promote our digital high street app. Not only do we feel that it conveys the function of our app, but we ensured that our ethos of supporting local was at its very heart. NearMeNow chose Shay Heatley, an 18 year old, ex- Cowbridge High School student to sing on the video. Shay sang a song composed by Stephen J Preston, a composer, arranger and musical director from Beddau as a musical enhancement to the video that was filmed and produced by the talented Trigger Happy Creative based in Pontypridd. Featuring Cowbridge high street businesses Elephant & Bun Deli, Bethan Jones, S Andrews & Son Properties, No.39 and Fich & Ramous, the promotional video will now be used to support the launch of NearMeNow’s new app.

  • Near Me … up until Now! 2014

The solution started forming <foaming> at the backwash. Some shops use an A-board stating ‘walk in prices are available’, but how could I help get the message out. The answer was in my hand - 75% of people in the UK owned a smartphone back in the day – now 85%. As the scissors trimmed and styled, the solution also started to take shape. A smartphone app that allowed a hairdresser to communicate last minute availability without having to discount during busy periods and thus maximising profit using the nature of supply and demand to price accordingly.
